KZNPAT is a non-profit organisation with a limited endowment aimed at supporting small to medium sized cultural organisations and small scale independent projects. Organisations applying must be based in KZN. Independent projects from outside the province may be considered if they have a proven track record and confirmation from a local venue at the time of application. First time applicants are likely to be successful in obtaining funding for between R5,000 – R20,000.

Along with your application a budget must be presented showing how you will achieve your objective; with the requested funding amount making up no more than 50% of your overall budget. Your budget must show expenses, and your various projected income streams; such as other funding channels, sponsors, projected tickets sales, etc
